Tech Enthusiast
Hi! I'm Milson António, an Angolan software engineer with a passion for building innovative solutions and exploring the latest technologies. I specialized in backend development, with JVM languages. This is a space for me to share my insights, experiences, and projects with the community.
I started my journey in 2014 as a Computer Science Student at FURB University in Brazil and later studied a Master's in Computer Engineering with a focus on IoT at the Universidad de Jaén in Spain. Over the course of more than seven years of experience, I've explored different languages — had brief stints with Delphi, C#, and C++, but it was with Java that I ended up settling. Occasionally, I wander into Kotlin and also Go, sometimes just for the fun of trying something new. Most of my work has focused on backend development with Java, particularly using the Spring ecosystem and a microservices-based architecture. Along the way, I've gained practical experience with tools like Docker, message brokers, relational and NoSQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines. I enjoy writing clean, testable, and maintainable code, and I value working closely with teams to build things that are not only functional but reliable. Throughout my journey, I've contributed to a variety of projects — from modernizing legacy systems to building platforms for sports and entertainment, municipal tax collection, and real-time location tracking for different industries.
